This song is called "More". It's by Matthew West, written from the perspective of God to His children. +++
Take a look at the mountain
Stretching a mile high
Take a look at the ocean
Far as your eye can see
And think of me
Take a look at the desert
Do you feel like a grain of sand?
I am with you wherever
Where you go is where I am
And I'm always thinking of you
Take a look around you
I'm spelling it out one by one
I love you more than the sun
and the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine and you shine for me too
I love you
Yesterday
And today
And tomorrow
I'll say it again and again
I love you more
Just a face in the city
Just a tear on a crowded street
But you are one in a million
And you belong to me
And I want you to know
I'm not letting go
Even when you come undone
I love you more than the sun
and the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine and you shine for me too
I love you
Yesterday
And today
And tomorrow
I'll say it again and again
I love you more
I love you more
Shine for me
Shine for me
Shine on, shine on
Shine for me
I love you more than the sun
and the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine and you shine for me too
I love you
Yesterday
And today
And tomorrow
I'll say it again and again
I love you more

This song was on the radio earlier this afternoon and I thought to myself, "Wow, this is such a great song. I should post the lyrics on my blog." Ha! Turns out SOMEBODY else had that same thought... about 12 hours earlier :) Good choice, Jesse!
Guess I'll have to come up with another blog-worthy idea... The snow pictures don't really seem to fit with the beautiful sunshine we've had this week...
Sorry to beat you to the punch, Vicky! :) ... maybe you could post a section of dialogue from one of your favorite movies? or lyrics to some OTHER good song... I don't think it really snowed here... it must have been just an elaborate hoax, staged by you and Jami... :)
A very uplifting song indeed!
It DID snow, I swear!!!! It snowed at some point every single day that you guys were gone. The pictures are from the only day that we got a LOT of snow, but seriously the weather was awful the whole time.
When I saw the sunshine on Tuesday, I did have the thought, "They are NEVER going to believe me about the snow."
