Felix and Montgomery wanted to make a lot of noise, but I had to tell them that it's too late - it's time for bed!

Cabin/Lake Tyee

After Cole's game, we (Jaime, Cole, Chase, and I) headed up near Concrete, WA, to stay with my parents at their little cabin at Lake Tyee.

Felix, Bathroom, Other

The first two pics feature Felix sitting on the new tile in the downstairs bathroom. It's nice to finally have the tile in (thanks for the help, Dad!). Still have to put in the trim boards along the floor, though. For those of you who have been in my home before, you'll also notice a different shower curtain than before. I like it better than my last one. I liked the dreamy glow in the room with the lights off, so I took a picture of that, and then one with the lights on, where you can see the mainly-blue picture I bought from a street [spray-paint] artist in Mazatlan, Mexico. In other news, I was able to work on the little rock wall in my front yard today after church. It's coming along... It looks a lot better than it has been for the past few months, that's for sure. Ta ta for now...

Felix on Saturday

Felix and I went down to Salmon Beach, to visit with Brian and Marcia. In the picture, you can see both of the Narrows bridges. Beyond the bridges (under, on the right side), you can see part of Fox Island, where I grew up. There were a few sailboats out. I’m looking forward to some sailing excursions of my own…

Felix tried to be a monkey today.
He wanted to go swimming, too, but the pool was closed. Bummer!
Then he wanted some candy - we didn't have any, though (sometimes it's better not to get everything we want).
One of the other gentlemen at the hotel had a guitar. He let Felix play a little bit. Felix wanted to play it like a stand-up bass. That's all for today!

Having fun...

Well, since Felix's chores were done, and his room was clean, he was able to play around some. Felix likes to climb! I made sure he was safe.

We had a ham sandwich for lunch. Then our flight to NC was cancelled. Then we stood in line for a long time at "customer service". So we are currently stuck in Newark for the time being. There are two flights that we are on standby for. We're going to eat dinner now.

Felix and I packed a little lighter this time. It was nice of him to try to help take the main bag out to the car. What a guy!

There are rumors going around that a certain fox will be coming with me to North Carolina for my Sunday-Friday excursion (for work). Be on the lookout for Felix sightings...
